Brat

As we journey through the life of Dejan Milojević, a remarkable man, we encounter something that gives us hope for a better tomorrow.

By placing at the center a man who radiated energy, we begin to understand the value of life and of those moments when we feel respected, dignified, and loved. It is a life where we feel support, strength, and the joy of being in the presence, or even briefly crossing paths with someone as extraordinary as Deki, our BRAT (brother).

The founder and executive producer of Videostroj, Miloš Ratković, entrusted this project to director Nataša Šević and author Vladimir Pajić, with full support from the family of Dejan Milojević.

Following thorough preparation, filming began in early November 2024 and was completed after three months. During that time, the Videostroj production team embarked on a kind of “pilgrimage” through the life of Dejan Milojević. What adds unique value to the BRAT project is the fact that Nikola Milojević, Dejan’s son, is the main protagonist, who is personally collecting stories and material about his father.

Needless to say, the list of people who took part in this project is extensive. Among others, the film features interviews with: Dejan’s family members, Miša Lakić, Aleksandar Džikić, Branko Sinđelić, Duško Vujošević, Novica Veličković, Svetislav Pešić, Dejan Radonjić, Miško Ražnatović, Nebojša Čović, Veselin Petrović, Ratko Varda, Veselin Barović, Danilo Mitrović, Željko Obradović, friends and teammates from Beovuk, Podgorica, and Partizan, as well as Nikola Jokić, Dario Šarić, Ognjen Stojaković, Stephen Curry, Steve Kerr, Christopher DeMarco, and Draymond Green.

Equally impressive is the number of people who generously contributed to the making of this film. The name Dejan Milojević continues to bring out the best in people, and this is an opportunity for the Videostroj production team to once again express its heartfelt gratitude. The central interviews were filmed in the “Pojačalo” studio, where Deki collaborated with Ivan Minić and Dušan Basalo through the podcast “Talks with Folks”. Other filming locations include: “Olga Petrov” Elementary School (Padinska Skela), “Vuk Karadžić” Elementary School (Belgrade), FMP Arena in Železnik, SRC Tašmajdan and “Aleksandar Nikolić” Hall, SC Morača (Podgorica), Hotel Crown Plaza, Hotel Podgorica, TC “Dejan Milojević”, Ball Arena, and Chase Center.

The film also features representatives from all the clubs Dejan played for or coached: Beovuk, FMP, Budućnost, Partizan, Mega, and the Golden State Warriors.

The film premiere is scheduled for June 30, 2025. Until then, all updates and behind-the-scenes content can be followed on Instagram: @brat_dokumentarni_film
